Gyongyi Konyu-Fogel Ph.D.

Full Professor at California Southern University. Leadership coach, researcher, and author in the field of Global Mindset. Dr. Konyu-Fogel has extensive experience in international business, consulting, organizational development, leadership, and academic research. Having grown up in Europe and relocating to the US, she has a multicultural background and tri-lingual competency. She is a Salzburg Global Fellow, Eurozentre Cambridge Scholar, and J. Maxwell Scholar Diplomat Fellow in Washington D. C. serving on global projects and international partnerships in business and education. Previously, she was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Lawrence Technological University and Program Director of the Center for Global Leadership and Understanding. At California Southern University, she chairs doctoral research projects, serves on doctoral committees, and teaches Organizing and Negotiating for Value, Global Business Strategic Management, Organizational Leadership, and Global Marketing. In her empirical research, she examined global mindset skills and their effects on leadership behavior. As a consultant, she assists emerging economies on World Bank projects for foreign direct investment and market access/entry, enterprise & talent development. She is an award-winning published author, frequently presents at conferences, and serves as Keynote & Plenary Speaker. Aušrinė Šilenskytė

Strategic Business Development Research Group, School of Management, University of Vaasa, Finland Dr. Aušrinė Šilenskytė is a University Teacher at the School of Management, University of Vaasa, Finland, and vice-chair communication at the Academy of International Business Teaching & Education Shared Interest Group. Aušrinė teaches various topics related to international management for undergraduates, master’s degree students, and professionals in continuous education. She served as a digital mentor supporting teacher- colleagues in adopting recent technologies in their courses. Aušrinė holds a PhD in the area of international management, and her research centres around strategy implementation in MNCs, technology (e.g., SaaS, blockchain) adoption in International Business (IB) operations, and teaching IB. Aušrinė is an alumnus of the prestigious Nord-IB programme; she has also received several international awards for her research and as an educator. With a PhD in law from the University of Zurich, long-standing international business experience, studies in intercultural communication in the US and courses in the Psychology of Communication and Psychosynthesis, Dr. Christa Uehlinger is an experienced intercultural professional who successfully helped many leaders to develop their global competencies. She is a lecturer in intercultural management at the University of Applied Sciences in St. Gallen/Switzerland as well as at the university of applied sciences in Zurich. Additionally, she is an independent intercultural advisor, running her own company christa uehlinger linking people® (www.linkingpeople.ch) and working with leading companies from different industries, but also with the police, doctors and nurses, teachers and multicultural teams. Dr. Christa Uehlinger lived, worked, and travelled in Europe, Canada, the US, Australia and Asia. She is a certified administrator of IDI, a tool to measure intercultural sensitivity and a Cultural Detective facilitator. Her work consists of several published articles on intercultural communication; moreover, she is a key note speaker on this topic. Rodrigo is a Ph.D. candidate holding one of the 15 Ph.D. positions funded by Marie SkĹ‚odowska-Curie Action “Global mobility of employees” (GLOMO), an international research project part of the Horizon 2020 research and innovation program, under the supervision of University of Vaasa (Finland) and Cranfield University (UK). He possesses significant international experience in cross-culture interactions. Rodrigo earned his MBA in 2007 at the FundacĂŁo GetĂşlio Vargas (FGV) – Rio de Janeiro and an MA in 2014 at Cologne Business School (CBS) – Cologne. Rodrigo also has professional experience in well-known multinational corporations such as Anheuser-Busch InBev (Brazil) and Lanxess (Germany). Currently, his research focuses on creating career success and the long-term career impacts of different types of international work experiences.

Dr. Taras Danko is a Professor of International Business at the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute,” Ukraine. His research interests primarily focus on the fourth industrial revolution implications for international business, and international business management in the era of technology-driven disruptions.  He is an elected chair of the board at the Ukrainian Association for Management Development and Business Education, 2021-2024.  Also, he is a visiting professor at the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg, Germany.

Dr. Vas Taras, Professor of International Business at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He received his Ph.D. in International Human Resources and Organizational Dynamics from the University of Calgary, Canada. He is the Founder of the X-Culture Project (www.X-Culture. org). His research and work revolve around cross-cultural and global virtual teams and experiential approaches to international business education and development. His research team is particularly interested in the potential of global crowds to solve complex problems. Vas is the Vice President Administration-Elect of the Academy of International Business.
